This collection of 13 original songs plus one familiar song is my first release of original material. It is an acoustic recording in the Americana and Folk genres that ranges from upbeat to pensive with lyrics that are based on true experiences (Caffeine), wishful thinking (Too Late), and getting out and having fun (Dance Tonight) with one standard (I Am Weary) included as a familiar favorite.
This collection of 15 traditional folk songs is the 5th project to be released by independent musician Bill Long. It is an acoustic recording in the folk genre with tunes that were influential to his development as a musician and songwriter.
Fools of Consequence
This collection of 13 original songs is my second set of original material. It is an acoustic recording in the Americana genre with lyrics that are based on true experiences, wishful thinking, news, a sermon, and an eccentric world view. It includes both kinds of music: fast and slow.
This collection of 15 original songs is the third set of original material to be released by independent songwriter Bill Long. It is an acoustic recording in the Americana genre and includes one with Bo Edwards (The Good Hope General Store) who co-wrote “Rusty Red” that rose to #1 on the Roots Music Radio chart in 2015. These songs were inspired by reflections on my music, chance comments, news, family, and close friends.
This 3rd project is a collection of 17 traditional songs plus 2 original tunes. It was originally recorded, engineered, and produced by Doug Landress, Land Studios, Lawrenceville, GA. The master files were lost and it has been re-recorded, engineered, and produced in memory of Doug Landress, a great friend and musician.
